OBJECTIVES

Forum is working for the achievement of following objectives:

 

Regular information sharing.

Enhanced coordination with government and other key players in the hum. sector.

Linkages building and collective representation to Government and institutional donors.

Continual monitoring of all humanitarian responses in the country.

Standardization and ensuring quality in emergency response.

Capacity building and research / documentation.

Joint response and rehabilitation interventions in the disaster affected areas of Pak.

Analysis risks that change the working environment to delivery the humanitarian imperative in Pakistan.

Networking with relevant government departments

Liaison with donors

Joint response and rehabilitation interventions in the disaster affected areas of Pak.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA Organizations fulfill following criteria can be the permanent member of the forum.

 

Must be international non-governmental organization

Must have experience of working in relief/disasters

REGISTRATION PROCESS The organizations fulfilling the above criteria must provide the following documents for the consideration of the selection committee:

 

Registration Form: completed registration form.

Legal registration: A copy of the INGO's legal registration with the Government of Pakistan/Ministry of Economic Affairs Division.

Operational experience: A signed statement on official stationary affirming that the INGO has been operational for at least 6 months.

Governance Documentation: A copy of the INGO's written constitution that clearly defines the INGO's mission, objectives and organizational structure.

Financial Documentation: A copy of an audited financial report for its most recent fiscal year.

Annual Report: A copy of the Annual Report for the last year.

Website: A web link to the official website of the INGO.

Any brochures, reports etc elaborating the work/programs, projects and competencies of the INGO.

MEMBERSHIP FEE The organization will be required to pay the fee with in ten days after their documents have been reviewed and a decision of acceptance has been made by the selection committee. The annual fee will be for a period from January to December.
